Allow me to use this column as some HTTYD therapy and talk about the surprisingly good Netflix serie
Animation Celebration: Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld
Underworld focuses on characters I’m always interested in seeing more about, so I enjoyed my time.
Animation Celebration: Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic
Just go into the experience with your bar closer to hell than heaven.
Animation Celebration: The Old Mill
As Disney itself is championing its history as they go back to where they first began, taking a dive into their history 10 minutes at a time can be a fascinating and rewarding experience.
Animation Celebration: Robot Dreams
I will never not be mad at the distribution bungling that saw this film’s nomination go out with a whimper
Animation Celebration: Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
I was in this movie for the vibes, and I had so much fun.
Animation Celebration: The Three Caballeros
Warts and all aside, it’s a fascinating feature that’s unlike anything Disney makes anymore
Animation Celebration: The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad
While it’s not something that’s going to blow your mind, I enjoyed the comfort that a classic Disney offering provided.
Animation Celebration: Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie
As much as I love delving into arthouse animation, there’s something fun about a less serious entry every once in a while.
Animation Celebration: The Deer’s Bell
The Deer’s Bell is notable for a number of different reasons, from its art style to its celebration of culture
Animation Celebration: When the Wind Blows
When the Wind Blows is a harrowing snapshot from history
Animation Celebration: The Triplets of Belleville
The patently ridiculous animation fits perfectly with the tone of the movie overall and made this an experience I had a lot of fun with.
