Agree with both of your observations (not a Gervais fan, myself)-but I do love Will, so in the absence of the GREAT MICHAEL SCOTT -I hope he finds a GREAT “Will Within”.
Aside…every time I do “Find/Replace” in ‘word’, I think of the episode when Michael wrote the screenplay about himself, thinly veiled, and spelled the bumbling sidekick’s name wrong…Dwight… and the group found out to Dwight’s crushed dismay. Shattering for Dwight, but so painfully/brilliantly written! Sigh. What a stinkin’ awesome show.
